Terms and Conditions

Furviou is a founder-led IT product studio operated by Shriyansh Lohia in Delhi, India. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Furviou when you use this website, submit a lead or contact form, book a meeting, join as a referral partner, or hire us for project work.

If a signed proposal, statement of work, or partner agreement says something different from this page, that written document wins for that engagement. Studio products (Go and Velo) have their own product terms on their own domains.

By using the site or instructing us to start work, you confirm you have authority to bind the business you represent and that you are at least 18 years old.

Content on furviou.com is for information. Service descriptions, case studies, timelines, and example prices are not a binding offer until we confirm scope and fees in writing.

• Do not misuse the site: no scraping at abusive volume, no attempts to break authentication, no posting unlawful content in forms.
• We may change, pause, or take down pages without notice.
• Third-party links (Cal.com, product domains, social profiles) are their operators’ responsibility.

Public enquiry forms, the book-a-meeting flow, and email to hello@furviou.com create a lead. A lead is a request for information, not a project contract.

If you arrive via a partner referral link (`?ref=` or `/r/…`), we attach that partner to the lead so we can pay commission if the enquiry becomes a paying project. See Referral programme.

Discovery calls are typically 15 minutes and booked through Cal.com. We may decline work that is a poor fit (wrong audience, unclear budget, or work we do not ship).

Studio work starts only after both sides agree in writing: what we will ship, what we will not, timeline, revision rounds, and payment schedule. That writing may be a proposal, email confirmation, or statement of work.

What we typically include

• Design and engineering for websites, MVPs, and SaaS products as described in the scope.
• A limited number of revision rounds stated in the proposal. Extra rounds are billed.
• Staging or preview access so you can review before launch.
• Handover of source files, credentials we created for you, and a short usage note on delivery.

What we do not assume

• Ongoing marketing, SEO retainers, or 24/7 support unless the proposal says so.
• Copywriting, photography, legal copy, or paid ads unless listed as a deliverable.
• Third-party licence fees (fonts, stock, maps, SMS, AI APIs, domains, hosting). Those are billed to you at cost or paid on your own accounts.
• Results such as funding, revenue, rankings, or user growth. We ship the product; the market decides.

Timeline starts when the deposit clears and we have the access and content we asked for. If you pause feedback for more than ten business days, the schedule moves by the same amount. Rush work or mid-project scope changes are quoted before we do them.

Project fees are quoted in Indian rupees (INR) unless we agree otherwise in writing. For United States clients we may quote an equivalent in US dollars at a rate stated on the invoice. Exchange rates move; the invoice amount is the amount due.

• A deposit (often 40–50%) is due before production starts. Later milestones are due as listed in the proposal.
• Invoices are payable within the period stated (usually 7 days). Late amounts may pause work.
• All taxes that apply (including GST in India, if charged) are extra unless the quote says they are included.
• Chargebacks or unpaid invoices after delivery do not transfer ownership of the work.

You agree to:

• Give timely feedback, brand assets, copy, and access (hosting, domains, analytics, third-party APIs).
• Make sure content you send us is lawful and that you have the rights to use it.
• Name one decision-maker so we are not blocked by conflicting instructions.
• Keep login secrets we share with you confidential.

Unless a contract says otherwise: you own the custom work product we create for you once invoices for that work are paid in full. We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, boilerplates, internal libraries, and know-how. You get a licence to use those as part of the delivered product, not to resell our internals as a competing studio kit.

We may list the public URL, name, and screenshots in our portfolio and on social channels unless you ask for an NDA or a written opt-out before launch. We will not share private credentials, unpaid drafts, or confidential business data.

After final delivery we typically fix defects that are clearly our error (broken layout, failed deploy of agreed scope) for 14 days, provided hosting and third-party services have not been changed in a way that caused the issue. New features are new work.

The site and our services are provided as-is to the extent allowed by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (lost profits, lost data, business interruption). Our total liability for a project is limited to the fees you actually paid us for that project in the three months before the claim.

We are not responsible for outages or policy changes at hosting providers, app stores, payment gateways, AI vendors, or other platforms you choose to use.

• You may cancel in writing. Work completed and time booked is invoiced. Deposits are not refundable once production has started, except where Indian consumer law requires otherwise and the work has not begun.
• We may pause or end an engagement if invoices are overdue, the scope is repeatedly expanded without a change order, or the working relationship is abusive.
• On termination we hand over paid work. Unpaid work stays with Furviou.

Furviou runs a referral programme for approved partners. You share a unique short link. When someone uses that link and later becomes a paying client for studio project work, you may earn a commission.

How much you can earn

Commission is not a single flat cheque for every lead. It is set per successful project and varies from a minimum of ₹2,000 (approximately USD $24) up to a maximum of ₹35,000 (approximately USD $420) per qualifying referral. USD figures are indicative, converted at about ₹83 per US dollar, and may differ on the payment date.

Where the amount lands in that band depends on the closed project’s value, complexity, and the partner terms we confirm with you. A small brochure site sits near the floor. A larger MVP or SaaS build can sit toward the ceiling. We will not pay above ₹35,000 (about USD $420) for a single referral unless a separate written agreement says so.

When commission is due

• The visitor must use your valid referral link (or an equivalent code we can verify).
• The lead must become a paying Furviou client for project work we actually deliver.
• Commission is calculated when the related lead or project is first marked delivered or closed — not when the form is submitted.
• Cancelled, unpaid, or out-of-scope enquiries do not qualify.
• One commission per lead. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, and fake traffic are disqualified.
• We pay in Indian rupees unless we agree in writing to pay an equivalent in US dollars. You are responsible for your own tax filings.

Partners can view referred leads and status in a partner dashboard. Partners cannot edit client project data. Furviou decides whether a lead is valid. Payout status (pending, approved, paid) is recorded in our commission ledger. We may change or close the programme with notice; commissions already earned on closed work remain payable.

Marketing you do with your link must be honest. No spam, no paid impersonation of Furviou, no bidding on our brand name without permission.

Go (go.furviou.com) and Velo (velo.furviou.com) are separate products. Accounts, billing, and data on those products are covered by their own terms and privacy notices. These studio Terms do not replace product terms.

We may update these Terms. The date at the top is the effective date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new version. For an active project, the version in force when you signed the proposal still applies to that project unless we both agree otherwise.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief elsewhere to protect intellectual property.

If a clause is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These Terms, plus any signed proposal, are the whole agreement for studio work described here.
